Salam and Good morning Malaysia!
Apologies for the late reflection, the last week before midsem break was quite busy and hectic, with lots of things to be settled. Once again, I am sorry!
So during last weeks reflection, we were supposed to bring a hard copy of business generation model, but we werent clear on the task given from last 2 weeks lecture. In the end, we come clean with miss Elaine and knew what our tasks were.
Since now is mid semester break, the assignment is to finally complete the business report along with business generation model. Hoping that we can finish this on time.
What have I learnt?
I have learnt that there are many aspects we need to look deeper into in order to make our business a success. With every resources, channels, key actors and etc, it needs pure evidence or support. This is to show how valuable our business is and how it can solve people's problem.
How do I feel?
Honestly, I cant wait to have our report done!
Where and How I can apply?
Anytime in the future, if I happen to not get job with my degree, starting a business is one of my future plans.

~GDINs 4th REFLECTION~
TUESDAY , 6th NOVEMBER 2012 , 2nd COLLAGE , UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA , KUALA LUMPUR , 11.11 PM - Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone ! Hi , Miss Eleine ! First for all let we all thankful to GOD because owing to His Bless we are still get trough this life easily . As usual , I`m Gdin gonna to share with you all about everything ( I hope so ) that I have earned from last APKs lecture . Without further due , allowed me to start my writing . Hope all of you enjoy it !
Ladies and gentlemen ,
Personally , I think last lecture was the most frustrated day ! Our group , GROUP 6 , completely forget about the last week assignment . " Please print out the hard copy that I have downloaded at APKs Facebook . " Miss Eleine said last week . And we didn`t . Argh............. everyone especially our beloved leader , I zat and Cha , was very .....hemmmmmmm.....what`s that word ? Aha , SHOCKED + SPEECHLESS + COLD( due to air conditioner )+ BLUR = CHAOS ! Just kidding . Well , excuse me ! For you all information , both of them and the rest team member , manage to control the problem fluently / smoothly , in cool way . Congratulation !( applause ).. Keep it up ! Alright , then , Miss Eleine order us to show our assignment . Every just working smoothly . Miss Eleine gave us a few advice about something that correlate with our project , Fried Ice Cream .

What I have learnt is firstly , we must face any problem with calmly . Then , use our critical thinking to find another alternative way to solve any problem immediately . Next , we must / should do any assignment given on time . Finally , I Learnt that collaboration is important during through thick and thin condition . Actually , there are still a lot but due to my weakness , I didn`t remember . Sorry ...

As we all know that something that we gain without practicing it is useless . So , I advice you all especially to myself to apply any information / knowledge that we have gained in our life . 3rd reflection by Nomi Juliana
assalamualaikum and good evening
First of all , im gonna post my third reflection today and im so sorry about the lateness .
What I have Learnt ?
In that particular class with miss elaine , she did ask us to play a role and my role is as a employee . First of all , i need to prepared my resume in order to get a jobs from the manager and then heading straight to the manager for the jobs . And yeah , Basyar ( my group members ) be my manager :) My jobs as the employee is to sell the food to the customer as many as i can ! Its very challenging for me because i need to have excellent persuading skill to persuade those " fussy " customer and also the competition around me was like quiet " hot " makes me feel a lil bit nervous . From this beneficial activities , i have learnt and get a better understanding of the running of a business although im just the employee of the company . Overall , all the character have their respective role and it is all important . Missing any single of it may cause the business to be fail . Next , i also learnt how to communicate and negotiate . This can be used when the employee sell the products to the customer . Negotiation and communication skill are really important to make a deal success or to make a good deal for both side .
How do I feel ?
As the employee , of course i feel excited to sell my products ! and i do enjoy the role play session as i can get further exposure to the real business world :)
Where and How I can apply ?
This type of negotiation and communication skill can always be applied anywhere especially when deal with our business partner !

Again N's Reflection (4/11/12)
Assalamualaikum & Morning Pals!
Herm , how do I start ?? Really , morning doesn't suit me , haha .. but since I got nothing to do so I better workout on my reflection of the week . Before I get to the points , I want to say something . Me and my pals do reflections for every weeks right ? For me I realize that doing all this reflections of course to reflect about ourselves but also its a confession time and I do find it quite difficult to write all these stuff as I was trying to think about my actions , did I do wrong things , or is it right . Oookay , now I'm in pause mood o_O .. I'm running out of words , ideas . Hey , ideas ! where are you going ? Come back !! I need you .. :P . But the things I was trying to convey , you guys get right? About me saying its confession time ? Never mind , haha . So shall I get down to business ? Lets Go!
"Is everyone here yet ?" , its a sign showing that the class will begin shortly . As usual you will ask the groups leader to come in front and choose leader of the week but this week its quite differ as you were asking the leader to choose someone who is quiet , shy and not very stand out in the group . I was barely get choosen . Am I really that kind of person ? *heart got stabbed* =_= . No I'm not !!!!!! Our first mission , its almost the same as our previous one which is says "hi" , or doing Hi-5 but what differs is that we need to shake hand like a very firm hand-shake .
Then , our next task is we need to have 3 challengers for each groups and promote our business . I was the 1st challenger , my friend Eca 2nd one and last one was Basyar . As I was up to be the 1st challenger and very nervous till my hand was trembling . So to avoid my trembling hand being seen , I tend to move it around . As a finishing touch for my speech , I made everyone in the class laughing . Haha , thanks to those who think I was being funny that time . But honestly , its good seeing everyone laughing at me that time which shows that they were landing me their eyes and ears . For Eca and Basyar , from my point of view , they did their part with flying colors . Good job guys ! You guys have my support .
What I have Learnt?
Actually whenever its comes to APK class I was soooooooooooooo nervous as I was wondering what kind of think we shall be doing . Okay , pause mood again o_O . A firm hand-shake , its to build confident level in ourselves and also to leaves some good 1st impression to those who shake hands with you . But I can see that some of us were not so eager to shake hands with others , I mean like hey come on we're in the same lecture , either we ever talk or not we should grab this chance to make friends with others . Never mind then . I was picked as one of the 1st top challengers , thank you very much Miss Elaine , it mean a lot when you pick me , its makes me realized that I'm capable in doing things if I put my courage in it . To be an entrepreneur , showing expressions is vital , a good actor / actress is needed in order to convince people to buy your product . I like that session actually where I can see my fellow members doing all kind of expressions and some of the members really make my day . Thank you for bringing some much laughter . ^_^
How Do I Feel ?
I'm very glad as during this week , I get to do task within my groups members which was I'm more comfortable with . No offense meaning here , its just that I like it that way .
Where & How I Can Apply ?
Everywhere I go with anyone I meet . In the future , I'll be meeting peoples and like Miss Elaine said this task is prior as we will be doing presentation . I want people to enjoy my presentation and yeah I'm definitely going to apply what I've learnt so far .

I'm looking forward for your class tomorrow Miss Elaine although I'm very nervous about it but I'm sure its going to be fun as always . Moral values ? guys that sound nice as we all need to work on our morals too right ? So you guys have my support .

N's Belated 3rd Reflection
Assalamualaikum & Halo Peeps!
Its already pass the midnight and yet I haven't feel sleepy . Plus , its a perfect time for me to write my reflection because the internet is working very well at times like this . Yess,,as stated by the title this is my 3rd which is I know that its too late to post about it . But still I need to do it . So without further ado , I shall get down to business.
During this week , I was in-charge as leader of the week . First I was so nervous as I was afraid I would not be able to execute my role as a leader . But,I threw all those thought and just go for it . The first mission(haha,,I'm exaggerating right?:P) was we need to waves and in order for us to make it we need to team-up with another group which is group 5 . Herm,I got to say that this is fun although we have to keep on doing it till everyone get it right , I don't mind doing it over and over again . Hahaha..
Next , when I saw Miss Elaine brought The Monopoly in I was like how we are suppose to play it with ALL these people here? I mean wouldn't it be chaotic? But then an even more detailed explainations were given and the game begin!
What Have I Learned?
From customer point of view , I can see that some of the entrepreneurs and employees were working very hard to attract customers and some of the customers were so aggressive to get some discount . As a customer , we should spend our expenses wisely and I realised that it so easy to spend all the given money but to gain it , hard work was needed . In the game , in order for us to get the money we have to answer a question . Good answer will give good amount of money , bad answer... spend your money well pal!
How Do I Feel?
Can I just say it?.. I'm not very fond of this week actually . Honestly , I hate shopping and crowd . I mean I like shopping but not in crowd . That is why I hate going out in weekend and prefer shopping on weekdays . But I know at the end of the day I have to face the crowd .
Where & How I Can Apply?
Actually , this week help me a lot as I was more careful in spending . I'm an extravagant person and I can't seems to help myself about it and I'm very thankful that you Miss Elaine done this activity .

Aisyah's 4th Reflection
Assalamualaikum and evening earthlings!
To be honest, this week was one hectic week, with presentations, assignments, tests and college events all occuring within one week. So my time management was tested, and I felt quite pressured with all the responsibilities tied to me, so I decided to do this reflection once all the things had been settled or probably a bit later than the usual.
So this week's lecture, as usual warm-ups is always done, and I personally think besides refreshing our tired minds for the day, it is also a way to boost up our confidence level. I must say, it has improved slightly, not just from APK class, but also my English class (Presentation Skills at work). Thank you to everyone! The first task was doing the hi's and shake hands firmly with other members of lecture, and everything must be done random and we were moving around (although movement was limited, once again -_-). I remembered what Miss Elaine mentioned about shaking hands, it must be done firmly to show that you are actually confident in meeting the person and setting a good impression.
Next task was to select 3 people from the group, and they must present to the whole lecture hall about how unique is their business. This was a challenging one, as I was also selected and I am bad in presenting even if I had the confidence to do it. In the end I just did it lol.
Since it was 3 people, there was 3 rounds. I was the second challenger and first challenger was Nani. She did hers quite well, and her voice projection was clear and loud. As for me, I did what I had to and apparently 20 seconds isnt enough -_-
What have I learnt?
Well, I managed to get a few tips from other challengers, the ones who gave a good impression, conveyed their message clearly and of course, making their business sound interesting! Maybe I need to develop my voice projection more..and I have to admit my voice is really slow. Besides that, body language is also important, eg hand gestures and body movements. This is to show how you are working hard in getting people's attention. Moreover, stresses on my vocabulary, I think I would need to add more stresses and convince the audience on how fantastic our business is!
How do I feel?
Developed. Improved :D
Where and How I can apply?
This type of skills can always be applied anywhere, especially when meeting our business partners or clients. Getting a good first impression is very vital!

Im looking forward to the next class by Miss Elaine, as I always enjoyed her activities and I do agree with Gdin, I hope to have some activities relating to our moral values too.

~GDINs REFLECTION ~
THURSDAY , AT BILIK BACAAN GUTHIRE , KOLEJ TUANKU BAHIYAH (KK2) , UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA , KUALA LUMPUR - Assalamualaikum and hi everyone , especially to Miss Eleine . How are you guys? I hope that all of you are in the pink of health . Thanks goodness because once again we can meet in the reflection blog . This time , me , Gdin , would like to share with you all what have I obtained from the last APKs lecture .

Without further due , allowed me to start my writting . As usual , within the APKs lecture , I have learnt so many brand new things . Before that , allowed me to give you all a summary about what we have done during last Monday , at 3-5 pm . First for all , the beautiful young lady , Miss Eleine , ordered all leader to pick one from their team member that has all of these characteristics ;
1) Quiet-type person
2) Shy
3) Not very 'stand out' .
etc ...
and my leader , Izat Yuan , picked me . WHAT!? No wonder why I feel kind a bad feeling just before entering the APKs lecture that evening . However , I challenged myself to stand and go in front to Miss Eleine . She told us , that we gonna be leader for this week APKs lecture . WHAT!? And bla bla bla ................ (lazy to read more ) .......... +_+
Dear pals ,
There are so many brand new thing that I have learnt that day . What I have learnt throughout that day may help me to face any challenges in the future . I hope so ... One of them is accept whatever or any task that have been given to us sincerely . It`s hard but try our very best to complete the task . For you all information , it`s not easy to be a leader you know that . Am I right ? There is saying that said " leadership is not a position , but it is an action " . After that , I learnt to more independent in making any decision . Now , when you`re the leader , you that have to make decision not them . There is actually kind a difficult to me because every single action , you have face the antecedence !
